C.A.R. Hospital History

Bill White’s C.A.R. Hospital Inc. opened for business as a general automotive repair shop in June 1991, by Bill & Vonei White. The business was located in Sycamore, IL. Due to outgrowing the building, the business was moved to its current location at 303 N 7th St. DeKalb, IL. Over the years, the business has added tire sales, towing and pre-owned vehicle sales. The owners are heavily involved in community service, contributing both time & money to support local & charitable events. The business was awarded the “Business of the year Award” in 2000 by the City of DeKalb & The DeKalb Chamber of Commerce. You can count on Bill White’s C.A.R. Hospital Inc. for honesty & integrity in your service experience.

Code of Ethics

As a professional auto service provider, we agree to:

  1. Recommend corrective and maintenance services and explain to the customer which of these are required now to correct existing problems & which are for preventive maintenance.
  2. Offer customer a price estimate for work performed.
  3. Obtain prior authorization for all work done, in writing or by other means satisfactory to the customer.
  4. Make every effort to keep the customer informed about appointments and completion deadlines.
  5. Furnish an itemized invoice for parts & services.
  6. Provide and honor a warranty covering parts & services.
  7. Exercise reasonable care for the customer’s property while it is being serviced.
  8. Make every attempt to fix the customers vehicle right the “first time.”
  9. Uphold the high standards of our profession and seek to correct any abuses within the automotive industry.
